Mystery Shooter Hits Four More Stafford Homes
Stafford County Sheriff's Office makes another appeal to public for information.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office made a new call for help to the public Friday for information about gunshots fired at local homes, after four more residences were fired upon Thursday night.
Deputies responded at 11:30 p.m. to a call of shots fired at four homes on Forest Lane Road, in the White Oak area of Stafford, according to a police statement. As in the previous shootings, there were no injuries reported Thursday night.

When the deputies arrived on the scene, they were told by homeowners that their houses had been shot at by what appeared to be some type of rifle, the police said. The houses have received damage in the sides or the windows. In some instances, the projectiles actually entered the residence.

Stafford deputies also responded the week of Jan. 26 to similar reports at four other homes on Forest Lane Road. Other shootings have been reported on New Hope Church Road in Stafford and the Caledon Road area of King George County.
“We are dedicating every asset of the Sheriff’s Office to identify and arrest the individual or individuals responsible for these senseless, dangerous acts,” Stafford Sheriff Charles Jett. said in a statement. “Working together with the community, these criminals will be found.”
