Spotsylvania Woman Charged In July 1 Parking Lot Shooting: Police
U.S. marshals arrested two others last week on charges stemming from the killing of Alon Clipper, 23.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A third individual has been arrested on charges stemming from the fatal shooting of a King George County man last month in the parking lot of a local shopping center, the Fredericksburg police announced Tuesday. Alon Clipper, 23, died from his wounds following the shooting in the early hours of July 1 at the Greenbrier Shopping Center on Plank Road (Route 3).
Donna Renee Lewis, 44, turned herself in Monday to the Fredericksburg police, the Free Lance-Star reported. She's being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford County.
Lewis is facing a felony charge of accessory after the fact of homicide. She is scheduled to appear on Aug. 29 in the Fredericksburg General District Court, according to the Free Lance-Star.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested two other men last week on charges stemming from the homicide, the police said:

- Stevie Montrel Adams, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested Thursday in North Carolina on felony charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He's being held at a jail in Hertford, N.C.
- Tyree Whitfield, 37, of Franklin, also was arrested Thursday, on a felony charge of accessory after the fact of homicide. He's being held at the Franklin County Jail, in Virginia's Tidewater region.
The police say that Adams, a convicted drug dealer, shot Clipper as he was was getting into a car in the Greenbrier parking lot behind the M&T Bank, the Free Lance-Star reported. When police arrived at the scene at 1:58 a.m., they found only shell casings.
Soon afterward, they received a call from Mary Washington Hospital that a male with gunshot wounds had been brought to the emergency room. It was Clipper, who had been taken to the hospital by friends. He died there later that day.
