2 Injured In Potential Gang-Related Shooting In Mount Vernon

Police believe two people were shot in a gang-related incident.

MOUNT VERNON, VA—Two people were shot in what police say could be a gang-related incident in Mount Vernon Sunday.

Shortly after midnight, two men were walking in the 3400 block of Buckman Road when an "older model" car pulled up.

The man in the passenger seat asked a question, and when they answered pulled out a gun and shot at them. The suspects then fled in the car.

The two victims had non-life threatening injuries. The suspect and other people in the car were described as men with white t-shirts covering their face.

  • 2900 block of Arlington Drive, merchandise from business
  • 1600 block of Belle View Boulevard, merchandise from business
  • 8400 block of Frye Road, merchandise from business
  • 7100 block of Groveton Gardens Road, necklace and watch from business
  • 2500 block of Parkers Lane, credit cards and cash from residence
