This weekend features county fairs, Vietfest, Bands & Brews Summer Bar Crawl, musical and comedy performers and more.
WASHINGTON, DC — While the first day of school is approaching for many students in the Northern Virginia and DC region, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the summer this weekend.
One of the highlights for families will be three fairs — the Arlington County Fair, Prince William County Fair (through Saturday) and The Carnival at Uptown One Loudoun. Foodies can enjoy special menus during Alexandria Restaurant Week and Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week.
It will also be a notable week for performances, including Kevin Hart: Reality Check, Wiz Khalifa and Logic at Jiffy Lube Live, Fantasia at Wolf Trap, Santana + Earth, Wind & Fire: Miraculous Supernatural Tour, Blondie at the Anthem, Steve Martin and Martin Short at Wolf Trap, deadmau5 presents We Are Friends Tour and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
