Alexandria Man Charged in December Bank Robbery: Police
He fled from a Wells Fargo branch with cash, say Alexandria police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria police arrested a city man on Thursday for a bank robbery that occurred three months ago at the Bradlee Shopping Center, according to a Police Department statement.
Lamont Sellers, 46, of Alexandria, is being held without bond in the Alexandria jail, charged with robbery, threats to bomb and false summoning of law enforcement, the police said.
The charges stem from a robbery that occurred Dec. 16 at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3624 King St. At 2:05 p.m., a man entered the bank, passed the teller a note and implied he had a weapon, the police said.

The robber "demanded money, the teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash," the police said. There were no injuries reported.
