The Arden, Affordable Housing Near Huntington Metro, Sets Opening Date
The Arden, a 126-unit affordable housing community, is expected to open in January.

HUNTINGTON, VA — A new affordable housing community near the Huntington Metro station is set to open in January.
The Arden, a 126-unit community from affordable housing developer Wesley Housing, will be open to households making 80 percent of the area median income or less. A grand opening is planned on Jan. 13 at The Arden, 2317 Huntington Avenue, Alexandria, VA.
The community has 10 efficiency units, 26 one bedrooms, 76 two bedrooms and 14 three bedrooms. Eleven of the units are fully accessible. Amenities include a community room, outdoor courtyard patio, bike storage, on-site laundry facilities, garage parking, and free in-unit and common area Wi-Fi, to name a few.

The ground floor has office space that will serve as Wesley Housing's new main office.
Wesley Housing recently opened another affordable housing in Arlington called The Cadence. The Waypoint at Fairlington in Alexandria opened in the fall.
