Area Youth Shine in MVCCT's The Wizard of Oz

There’s no place like Oz in Mount Vernon Community Children’s Theatre’s fabulously fun take on this beloved classic. Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion and 44 of the area’s most talented youth on a journey of imagination and self-discovery. Featuring such well-known songs as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “We’re Off to See the Wizard”, the musical will evoke memories of the classic film. A great way to introduce young children to the theatre, this production this production promises family friendly fun for all ages.

The Wizard of Oz will be performed March 24th through April 2nd at Bryant Alternative High School in Alexandria, VA. Tickets are $12 and are available online at www.mvcct.org or at the door.
