Armed Carjacking Involved Group Of Suspects In Woodlawn

WOODLAWN, VA — A driver was assaulted in an armed carjacking Saturday in the Woodlawn area, according to Fairfax County Police.

According to police, the carjacking happened in the 3700 block of Rolling Hills Avenue and involved four suspects driving a brown Nissan Altima. The Nissan Altima blocked the victim's vehicle, police say. The suspects displayed a gun, assaulted the victim and took the victim's 2017 gray Toyota Corolla, police say.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the suspects were 18 to 20-year-old men in dark clothing. There was no license plate information available. Anyone with information was asked to call 911.
