Armed Person Robs Groveton Delivery Driver: Police
Police are seeking the suspect, who fled with the delivery driver's belongings.
GROVETON, VA—A suspect is on the loose after the armed robbery of a delivery driver Wednesday night in Groveton.
The robbery happened around 10:22 p.m. in the 3400 block of Hollyhill Drive. The delivery driver was in the area delivering pizzas when a man approached. The unknown suspect displayed a gun and demanded money.
The suspect took the pizza and the driver's belongings before fleeing on foot. He is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 foot 10, with a slim build and wearing a mask and dark clothing.
