Body Found In Richmond Highway Corridor Of Fairfax County

Fairfax County Police responded to a body found in Groveton Saturday but did not say if the death was suspicious.

GROVETON, VA — Fairfax County Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Richmond Highway corridor Saturday.

The body was found in the 7100 block of Mint Place in Groveton. Police did not say if the death was suspicious.

The identity of the person was not immediately known.

Major Crimes Bureau detectives are investigating. Police are expected to provide another update at a later time.

This was the second body discovery police responded to in Fairfax County Saturday. Another body was found Saturday behind a business in the 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive in the Culmore area of Bailey's Crossroads.
