Bonnet-Wearing Suspect Wanted In Mount Vernon Robbery
A robbery at a 7-Eleven in Mount Vernon involved a suspect wearing a bonnet covering his face, according to Fairfax County Police.
MOUNT VERNON, VA — A commercial robbery suspect wanted in Mount Vernon was seen wearing something more commonly seen at nearby George Washington's estate.
Fairfax County Police say a man wearing a brown bonnet covering his face is the suspect in the Saturday robbery. The robbery happened at 9:45 p.m. Saturday at the 7-Eleven at 8146 Mount Vernon Highway.
Surveillance footage showed the bonnet-wearing suspect enter the store, demand money and imply he had a gun. The suspect took cash and fled. The employee was not injured in the robbery.

Police described the suspect as a Black man with a slim build in his early 20s and wearing dark clothing with red shoes.
