Burglar Breaks Into Belle Haven Home, Steals Items
The break-in happened when the resident was away one evening, police say.

BELLE HAVEN, VA—Fairfax County Police say a burglar entered and stole from a Belle Haven home Friday, Nov. 16.
The break-in happened between 4:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of Cavalier Drive. The resident noticed that someone broke in when arriving home. Several watches, cash and a passport are missing from the home.

Other incidents in the weekend crime report around the Mount Vernon Police District included a number of thefts from vehicles:
- 7900 block of Flamingo Drive, keys from vehicle
- 6200 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from vehicle
- 9100 block of Richmond Highway, bag and cash from vehicle
- 6200 block of The Parkway, cash from vehicle
- 2600 block of Wagon Drive, tires from vehicle
