Burglar Suspect Nabbed with Help of Police Chopper, FCPD Says
Police were called Monday afternoon for a "burglary in progress" on Woodpecker Way.
Fairfax County Police say they nabbed a burglar suspect Monday afternoon with help from their police helicopter.
Police got a call about a burglary in progress Monday afternoon, at around 1:46 p.m. in the 7900 block of Woodpecker Way (see map below).
The suspect fled, but was located with assistance from the police helicopter and arrested, according to police. Cornelius A. Sniper, 28, of Alexandria, was charged with attempted burglary and trespassing.
