Jonathan A. Noyalas will discuss his recent book General Philip H. Sheridan: Life, War, and Memory (Routledge), examining the legacy of one of the Civil War's famed commanders.
Noyales directs Shenandoah University's McCormick Civil War Institute and is the author or editor of 18 books and 100 articles, essays, chapters, and reviews for a variety of scholarly and popular publications. He has appeared on C-SPAN's American History TV, NPR's "With Good Reason," and other outlets.
