Celebrate conservation hero Aldo Leopold

Come hear a read-a-thon to celebrate the 128th birthday of legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold, sponsored by the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust. It will feature public figures, students, local conservationists, and community members reading excerpts from “A Sand County Almanac,” followed by the film about Leopold and his work, “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold And A Land Ethic For Our Time.” Event is free with light refreshments, and will be held at the Ellen Coolidge Burke Library, 4701 Seminary Rd., Alexandria.
