Chamber to Host 8th Congressional District Nominees Oct. 9
Come meet candidates Micah Edmond and Don Beyer at a business breakfast at Belle Haven Country Club.
Voters in the 8th District will head to the polls in November to vote for a new member of Congress. You’ll get your chance to meet the candidates for the Virginia 8th Congressional District on Thursday, Oct. 9.
Candidates Micah Edmond (R) and Don Beyer (D) will introduce themselves and answer questions. (If you click on the nominees’ names, it will take you to their campaign Web sites, for information about them and their stand on the issues.)
Hosted by the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce, the October Business Breakfast is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Belle Haven Country Club, 6023 Fort Hunt Road in Alexandria, VA 22307.
