Chesterbrook Academy Campers Raise $350 for Children with Cancer

Summer campers sold lemonade to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

On Aug. 17, summer campers from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Alexandria raised more than $350 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which funds research, raises awareness and supports families affected by childhood cancer. To raise money for the organization, campers held a lemonade stand at their local grocery store. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.
