Child Abducted In Lincolnia Reunited With Family, Suspect Sought
After a vehicle with a child inside it was stolen, Fairfax County Police continue to search for the suspect.

LINCOLNIA, VA — A child was abducted in a stolen vehicle in Lincolnia Sunday before being located and reunited with her family, but police are still searching for the carjacker and stolen vehicle.
The abduction happened around 6:30 p.m. in a parking lot in the 6200 block of Little River Turnpike. According to police, the 2012 gray Honda Accord was stolen with a 5-year-old girl in the backseat. The girl's stepfather had left the car running while picking up food at a restaurant.
Fairfax County Police and its helicopter began a search of the area, put out a lookout to surrounding jurisdictions and started the Amber Alert process. About 7:18 p.m., Metropolitan Police in DC were called to 13th Street and E Street NW when the child was found alone.

Police in Fairfax County and DC worked to reunite the child with her family. The police department's Victim Services Division is assisting the child and her family.
While the child was found, police continue to seek the suspect and stolen vehicle. The vehicle, a 2012 gray Honda Accord, has Maryland plates 94667CJ and a black hood with damage to the front and back end.
