Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office donates bikes for holiday store

Alexandria, VA (December 20, 2016) – The staff and agents affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Alexandria office banded together this month to provide bicycles to children involved in the local Boys & Girls Club.

The Coldwell Banker team, led by agents Virginia Amos and Michael Bergin, purchased 13 bikes and helmets they then provided to the Christ Church holiday store.

The store is available every year for families from the local Boys & Girls Club, who are described as the “working poor” – those who struggle financially but have too much income to qualify for many other forms of assistance. For $25, families who visit the store can select any items they need for the holidays, from toys to clothes and other items.

“We really wanted to do something to help families in need during the holidays,” said Virginia Amos. “Coldwell Banker is a huge supporter of our community, and this was a perfect way to show our commitment.”

The office raised enough money to purchase bikes, helmets and other toys to donate to the store.
