County Fair, Carnival, Cardboard Boat Regatta: DC, NoVA Weekend Events

WASHINGTON, DC — As August continues, there are plenty of events to enjoy around the Northern Virginia and DC region.

There are two fairs to enjoy — the Prince William County Fair in Manassas and The Carnival at Uptown in Ashburn. In DC, familiar faces return as the Washington Nationals play the San Diego Padres. Reston has a packed weekend between major events like the Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta and RTC Street Fest.

Other notable events in the region include DC 90s Crawl, Taste Leesburg, Alexandria Summer Sidewalk Sale, All Corvette Cruise-In and much more.

It's not looking like rain will spoil weekend plans. The National Weather Service expects sunny or mostly sunny weather Friday to Sunday with high temperatures in the low 80s.
