Della J's Delectables Moving To Richmond Highway Corridor

Southern comfort food is coming to the former Ruby Tuesday space in Hybla Valley as Della J's Delectables relocates from Springfield.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — The Richmond Highway corridor is getting a new restaurant option as Della J's Delectables relocates from Springfield.

Della J's, a Southern comfort food eatery, is relocating to 7692 Richmond Highway, the former location of Ruby Tuesday at Mount Vernon Plaza in Hybla Valley. The Springfield location at 6558 Backlick Road will close on Sunday, Aug. 28. A grand opening date for the new Richmond Highway location will be announced soon.

Della J's Delectables is a Black-owned business from Jerry and Lydia Young. The restaurant was inspired by and named for Jerry Young's mother Della. The Southern-focused menu includes some of his mother's recipes with Jerry Young's own twist, according to the restaurant's website.
