Driver Fleeing Cops In Belle Haven Hits Other Car: Police
Fairfax County Police say officers were chasing a stolen car when it struck an uninvolved car.

BELLE HAVEN, VA—A pursuit in Belle Haven led to an uninvolved person's car being hit in Belle Haven Saturday.
Around 10:45 a.m., officers spotted a stolen car at Richmond Highway and Fort Hunt Road. A pursuit ensued when the driver of the stolen car sped away. The car crashed after it struck the other person's car.
The suspect briefly fled on foot but was caught. Michael McDonald, 22, was charged with grand larceny, eluding, suspended license and providing a false name to avoid arrest.

Assault on Law Enforcement/Grand Larceny: 7910 Richmond Highway (Walmart), 9/27/18 9:15 p.m. Officers responded for a larceny at the Walmart. Luther Bullock, 44, of Washington, D.C., was arrested for Grand Larceny after attempting to steal over $1,000 worth of merchandise. During the incident, 48-year-old Blair Rush, of Washington, D.C., intervened and attempted to obstruct the investigation. While she was being handcuffed, she bit and kicked an officer. The officer was not injured. Ms. Rush was charged with assault on law enforcement, obstruction of justice, and providing false name to avoid arrest. Mr. Bullock was charged with grand larceny.

Burglary/Destruction of Property: 3800 block of El Camino Place, between 9/26/2018 and 9/28/2018. The property manager of a vacant apartment noticed that the front door of an apartment had been kicked in. It appeared that people had been staying in the vacant apartment temporarily, and damaged it before leaving.
Robbery: 6000 block of Richmond Highway, 9/28/2018, 2:20 a.m. Two victims were waiting for the elevator at their apartment complex when a man approached them, pointing a black handgun and demanding money. The suspect then took cash from the victims before running away. The suspect was described as a black male, 5’5’”, around 130 pounds.
Unlawful Entry: 5600 block of Kathryn Street, 9/29/2018, between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The homeowner noticed that her rear sliding glass door was open and their rear motion light was on. The door had been locked the night prior and the homeowners were sleeping at the time of the burglary. Nothing appeared to be missing.
