THE COAST GUARD AUXILIARY TEACHES A BOATING SAFETY CLASS WHICH IS APPROVED BY ALL STATES TO MEET THEIR MANDATORY BOATING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
The next class is on October 1, 2011 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 8592 Richmond Highway, Alexandria 22309.
The class runs from 7:45AM to 5:00PM. Bring a sandwich for lunch. Drinks are furnished.

The cost is $40 ($60 if two share a manual). It includes a course manual, certificate and card, free membership in BoatUS, West Marine discount coupon and a chance to win one of two automatic inflatable life jackets.
Instructors include a retired Coast Guard captain, Coast Guard licensed power and sailboat operators, off-shore delivery skippers and decades of experience on the Potomac, Chesapeake, Atlantic and Caribbean waters.
