'Fall Funtacular' Set for Sunday at Arcadia Farm

The cider is bubbling, the donuts are frying and the contra band is warming up.

Arcadia Farm at Woodlawn is holding its annual Fall Funtacular Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at Arcadia Farm at Woodlawn, located at 9000 Richmond Highway (see map below).

The family-friendly event features cake walks, apple bobbing, sack races, egg and spoon relays, learning about seed saving, sweet potato harvesting, chicken encounters, ugly fruits and veggies, nutrition, composting, and honey bees.

Participate in kids cooking, contra dancing, a pumpkin “patch,” and watch (and taste) a seasonal cooking demonstration by Market Chef Jonathan Bardzik.

Arcadia Farm recommend pre-ordering your pumpkins from the “patch.”

Snacks will be available to purchase and you can pre-order a charcuterie lunch pack from Red Apron (pre-order by 8 p.m. on Thursday). Or bring your own picnic and a blanket.
