Investigators Seek Information On Hybla Valley Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a vacant house Tuesday morning.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — Information is sought after a fire at a vacant Hybla Valley home early Tuesday.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a single-family home in the 2900 block of Dunbar Street around 2:11 a.m. A neighbor had noticed the fire and called 911. Crews quickly put out the fire, and no one was injured.

Investigators determined the fire started in the living room, but the cause remains under investigation. There were no smoke alarms in the home. Damages were estimated to be around $50,000.
