UPDATE: Fort Hunt Park Hosts Summer Concerts

If you haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy a summer concert yet at Fort Hunt Park, there are still plenty coming up each Sunday through August 30.

Fort Hunt concerts are usually held at Pavilion A on Sundays evenings from 7-8 p.m. in June, July, and August.

The park’s grassy fields are a great place to relax with a picnic while local bands play music from a variety of genres.

Here’s the schedule of Sunday concerts:

• July 19: Mount Vernon Swing Band
• July 26: Northern Virginia Saxophone Ensemble
• August 2: Mount Vernon Concert Band
• August 9: Collective Delusion
• August 16: MVBrass
• August 23: Alte Kameraden
• August 30: Bob Gibson Big Band
