Free Kids' Haircuts Next Wednesday at Gum Springs Community Center
Fairfax Fire + Rescue Department, Fairfax Police, Virginia State Police will display equipment; look for clowns and moon bounces too.
Firefighters will sponsor kids’ haircuts Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Gum Springs Community Center, 8100 Fordson Road, Alexandria.
Firefighters, local barbers and beauticians hope to cut hair for 150 kids just in time for the new school year.
The Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department, Fairfax Police and Virginia State Police will have equipment on display, along with performing clowns, face painting, and moon bounces.
