Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Children's Programs

Assistance League Programs Provide Food, Clothing and Literacy Support

Assistance League of Northern Virginia (ALNV) recently sponsored a Golf Tournament and Luncheon fundraiser at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, VA. The weather was perfect, the club was gorgeous, the food was excellent and the event was a huge success. There were raffle prizes, a silent auction and the announcement of tournament and contest winners.

All money raised goes directly to ALNV programs that provide food, clothing and books and reading support to low-income children in local Title 1 schools. We want to thank all the businesses that donated to help make the event a success and especially, Steve Mulder, realtor with Heller Coley Reed of Long and Foster and Steve Mincemoyer of RETR.

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is a 100% all-volunteer organization. Go to their website to find out how you can join them or how you can support their mission. alnv.org
