Greater Alexandria Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2022

MOUNT VERNON, VA — Spending hours preparing and cleaning up after a big dinner isn’t for everyone. For those who want to skip the fuss, several restaurants open Thanksgiving Day in the greater Alexandria area will cook turkey dinner — or something else entirely.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.

Here are the local restaurants that plan to be open:

Richmond Highway corridor

• Della J's Delectables: Pre-orders for Thanksgiving dinner packages are being accepted through 2 p.m. on Nov. 20. Individual dinners will be available for purchase on Nov. 23.
• Cedar Knoll: A Thanksgiving menu will be offered for $79 per person, $25 for ages 4 to 11 and free for 3 and under.
• Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant: Pre-order a Thansgiving dinner complete with turkey, sides and desserts to pick up by Nov. 23. The price is $180 for four to six guests and $290 for eight to 10 guests.

City of Alexandria

• Café 44: Friendsgiving with all-day happy hour food and drink specials on Nov. 22 and 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and open for Holiday Season Kick-off 3-Day Brunch on Nov. 25 to 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Bastille: Enjoy a Thanksgiving menu for $85 per person starting at 12 p.m. and with the last seating at 5:30 p.m.
• Chart House Restaurant: Enjoy Thanksgiving menus, including a traditional turkey dinner and three-course all-inclusive dinner.
• Augie's Mussel House and Beer Garden: Open for Thanksgiving reservations.
• King & Rye: Enjoy a three-course menu for $65 on Thanksgiving.
• Murphy's Grand Irish Pub: Live music will be provided.
• Barca Wine Bar & Pier: Enjoy Thanksgiving on the waterfront with holiday specials from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along with the usual Mediterranean-style menu.
• Theismann's Restaurant: Make Thanksgiving a touchdown at Joe Theismann's Restaurant with a special a la carte menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• The Majestic: Enjoy a four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving meal for $9 and three-course children's menu from noon to 9 p.m.
• Vola's Dockside Grill: Feast on a special three-course for $49 and kids prix fixe menu for $29 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Ada's on the River: Waterfront views are paired with a three-course Thanksgiving meal from noon to 9 p.m.
• Blackwall Hitch: Enjoy a Thanksgiving menu priced at $48 for adults and $18 for children 12 and under.
• Brabo: Brabo Brasserie will serve a family-style menu for $85 per person and $45 children 5 and older.
• Sweet-Fire Donna's: Closed on Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving pre-orders can be picked up by Nov. 23.
• Hank's Oyster Bar: Order a Hanks-Giving to go feast for four for pickup on Nov. 23.
• 1799 Prime: Open for Thanksgiving reservations.
• Royal Restaurant: A Thanksgiving buffet menu will be served at $40 for adults and $21 for children under 12.
• Laporta's Restaurant: A Thanksgiving lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. for $49 and dinner from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. for $59.99.
• Mia's Italian Kitchen: Open for Thanksgiving reservations.
• The Warehouse: Open for Thanksgiving reservations.
• Oak Steakhouse: Feast on a Thanksgiving menu from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap: Lena's will serve Thanksgiving specials and a holiday wine list to pair with food. Dine-in and takeout will be available, including bottles of wine to go.
• Matt & Tony’s All Day Kitchen + Bar: Matt & Tony’s will offer a herb roasted turkey dinner for two with pickup from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
• Neighborhood Provisions: Order Thanksgiving packages or a la carte items for delivery and pickup on Nov. 23.
• Junction Bakery & Bistro: Thanksgiving pre-orders will be accepted through Nov. 20. Pickups must be done by 12 p.m. on Thanskgiving.
• Spice Kraft Indian Bistro: A six-course menu will be offered for two for $75 or $135 for four from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Dine-in, takeout and delivery are available.
• Stomping Ground: Order Thanksgiving sides for pickup on Nov. 23 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
