Harmony Animal Hospital Opens In Groveton Area
At the Fear Free certified animal hospital, staff use practices to reduce pet anxiety during veterinarian visits.
GROVETON, VA —Harmony Animal Hospital has opened at 6940 S. Kings Highway, #208, in the Groveton area. The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the animal hospital on Friday, Oct. 4.
According to the local Chamber of Commerce, it's the only animal hospital in Northern Virginia providing Fear Free certified care to reduce anxiety for pets at veterinary clinics. The animal hospital utilizes practices to help pets less anxious at the veterinarian. One of the offerings is different entrances and treatment areas for dogs and cats.
The owner, Dr. Casandra Fowler, worked at animal clinics around Northern Virginia before fulfilling a dream of owning her own veterinarian clinic. She is a Fear Free certified provider.

Harmony Animal Hospital provides various services such as Fear Free wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, dentistry, a pharmacy and surgery. Boarding and grooming services will be added in the future.
