Hit-And-Run On VDOT Worker: Alexandria Man Arrested
An Alexandria man was charged for fleeing the scene after hitting a VDOT worker last week.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria man has been arrested in the hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a Virginia Department of Transportation worker last week.
Around 6:20 a.m. on Friday, Virginia State Police say the VDOT worker was helping a disabled vehicle on northbound Interstate 95 near exit 166B (Fairfax County Parkway/Backlick Road/Fullerton Road) in Springfield. The worker parked on the right shoulder with the emergency lights on.
He was setting out traffic cones when a green Ford Mustang heading north struck him. He was taken to Fairfax Inova Hospital with serious injuries. The driver fled the scene.

Witnesses helped police locate the suspect, who was held for questioning Friday. Virginia State Police say Ginnun S. Frazier, 27, of Alexandria was arrested and charged with hit-and-run and driving on a revoked license, The Washington Post reported.
