Huntley Meadows Visitor Center Reduces Hours In August
Staffing challenges will affect Huntley Meadow's visitor center hours on three days per week.

GROVETON, VA — Huntley Meadows, a Fairfax County park popular for its wetlands and wildlife, will have reduced visitor center hours on certain days in August.
According to the Fairfax County Park Authority, the visitor center will have limited hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Park grounds, including the meadow and trails, will remain open during normal hours of dawn to dusk. When the visitor center is closed, visitors will not have access to indoor interpretative areas and bathrooms.
The park authority hopes to return to regular visitor center hours in September.
