Hybla Valley Commercial Building Fire Causes No Injuries
An unoccupied commercial space was the site of a fire Monday night in Hybla Valley, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — No one was injured when a fire broke out in a commercial building in Hybla Valley Monday night.
Around 7:07 p.m., fire units responded to the 2900 block of Woodlawn Trail, a one-story commercial building. Crews found the fire in the kitchen and quickly put it out, as well as fire extension into the attic space.
The building was unoccupied and closed when the fire happened. A technician working on the exterior of the building observed smoke and reported the fire.

Fire investigators determined the cause of the fire was an electrical event involving a refrigerator in the kitchen. The building had working smoke alarms. Damages were estimated to be $93,750.
