Investigators Seek Information On Mount Vernon Vehicle Fire

MOUNT VERNON, VA — Fire investigators are looking into a vehicle fire that occurred in Mount Vernon on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The incident was captured on a Ring camera around 1:40 a.m. in the 4000 block of Sonia Court. According to the fire department, an unknown person approached a black truck and a second vehicle parked at the location. The individual entered the black truck and moved around the second vehicle before smoke started to show from the truck. The person fled from the scene.
