Java Loco Set To Open At Mount Vernon Plaza
The locally-owned shop will serve up coffee, bubble tea and other drinks, replacing the closed Starbucks.
HYBLA VALLEY, VA — A new place to get your coffee or bubble tea fix is arriving at Mount Vernon Plaza shopping center. Locally-owned coffee shop Java Loco is set to open on Friday, June 25 at 7694 Richmond Highway.
Java Loco will serve gourmet house coffee, authentic Italian espresso, espresso-based drinks, Cuban or Vietnamese coffee as well as bubble teas, fruit smoothies and decaf items from Annandale's Ocha Bubble Tea.
"We are thrilled to open at Mount Vernon Plaza in Alexandria," says Nga Ho, owner of Java Loco. "We look forward to welcoming new and loyal customers to enjoy and experience our delicious variety of beverages, sandwiches and baked goods."

This is the fourth Java Loco location in Northern Virginia, where the brand has operated since 2013. The location will be open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Java Loco coffee shop replaces the now-closed Starbucks at Mount Vernon Plaza. More information about tenants is available from property owner Federal Realty.
