Lincolnia Fire Displaces 4 People, Injures 1: Fire Department
One person was taken to the hospital during a house fire in Lincolnia over the weekend.

LINCOLNIA, VA — One person was injured and four were displaced due to a house fire in Lincolnia Saturday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
Units from Fairfax County and Alexandria responded to the 4700 block of Autumn Cove Court around 1:11 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters found fire showing from the second floor and the roof of the single-family home. The fire was located in the attic and brought under control.
Four people were home when the fire happened. After smoke alarms activated, one resident discovered the fire in the attic. The resident called 911 and tried to put out the fire. Three residents evacuated, and one evacuated with help from the fire and rescue crews.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No firefighters were injured.
Fire investigators determined heat from the active fireplace ignited the wood framework. The source of the fire was above the zero-clearance metal chimney pipe. Damages were estimated to be around $238,991.
