Man Breaks Into Sleeping Woman's Room In Mount Vernon

The woman woke up to find a man had entered through her bedroom window.

Police are seeking a burglar that broke into a woman's bedroom Tuesday night in Mount Vernon.

The woman was sleeping when the suspect got inside her home in the block 5400 of Claymont Drive around 10 p.m. Police believe he opened her window and came inside. At one point, she woke up and saw the man, who wore a mask to conceal his identity.

The suspect jumped out of the window after the victim fled from the room. She was not injured, and nothing was stolen from her home.

There is no clear description of the man, who was wearing a mask , blue jacket, and blue jeans at the time.
