Man Charged In Huntington Shooting That Hospitalizes Victim
One man remains hospitalized after a shooting in Huntington Wednesday, according to Fairfax County Police.

HUNTINGTON, VA — A man is facing charges in a shooting that injured one man in Huntington Wednesday, Fairfax County Police say.
Police responded to the 2000 block of Huntington Avenue around 1:53 p.m. Wednesday for a 33-year-od man with upper body gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital with what were life-threatening injuries, and he remains hospitalized.
Police say a suspect shot the victim multiple times in the upper body and fled. Based on information from witnesses, detectives found the suspect at a nearby hotel and arrested him.

Paul Malone, 52, of Alexandria, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.

Police continue to investigate what led to the dispute. Detectives do not believe the men know each other.
