Man Charged In Stabbing And Assault On Cop
The man is accused of stabbing a friend and kicking an cop on New Year's Eve in Mount Vernon.
MOUNT VERNON, VA—A man is facing charges for a stabbing that escalated into an attack on a responding officer New Year's Eve in Mount Vernon.
Police received a call that the suspect had stabbed an acquaintance around 2 a.m. in the 4800 block of Eubank Street. The suspect had been on scene when police arrived and kicked an officer.
Marvin Morales Hernandez, 29, of Alexandria was charged with malicious wounding and assault on a law enforcement officer.
