Man Dies In Hybla Valley Shooting, Suspect Sought
Officers found the victim with gunshot wounds at an apartment complex.
HYBLA VALLEY, VA — A man was killed in a shooting at a Hybla Valley apartment complex Saturday, according to Fairfax County Police.
Officers had responded to the 7100 block of Fairchild Drive around 12:30 a.m. Police found the victim with gunshot wounds near the breezeway of the building. Officers provided aid until rescue personnel took him to the hospital.
The victim, Xyqwavius Brown, 19, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death through an autopsy.

There is no initial suspect information. Detectives are processing evidence and interviewing witnesses. Early investigations find the shooting was not random. Police do not believe there is a threat to the public.
