Masked Gunman Robs Payless Shoes Wednesday Morning

Fairfax County Police say a masked gunman robbed a Payless Shoes store Wednesday morning.

Police say the robbery took place at the store, located in the 7700 block of Richmond Highway (see map below).

A suspect entered a business, brandished a gun and demanded money Wednesday at about 10:35 a.m., according to police. The victim relinquished money and the suspect fled. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries during the event.

The suspect was described as a male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask, police said.
