Mega Million Tickets From Richmond Highway Corridor Wins $10K
While no Virginia Lottery tickets have won the Mega Million jackpot, a ticket from the Richmond Highway corridor won a smaller prize.
BELLE HAVEN, VA — As no one has yet won the Mega Millions jackpot, one winner in the Richmond Highway corridor won a consolation prize.
A ticket bought at 7-Eleven (2800 Beacon Hill Road, Alexandria, VA) was one of two winning $10,000 in last Friday's drawing. The $10,000 prizes typically involve a ticket matching four of the five numbers and the Mega Ball number.
In Friday's drawing, the numbers were 11-30-45-52-56, and the Mega Ball number was 20.

The other $10,000 ticket was bought at John’s Super Market, (2017 East Nine Mile Road, Sandston). Another ticket bought at 7-Eleven (3805 Colley Avenue, Norfolk) won $20,000 by doubling the $10,000 prize by adding $1 through the Megaplier option.
The Mega Millions jackpot is up to an estimated $1.55 billion in Tuesday's drawing. A winner taking the cash option would receive $757 million before taxes.

Mega Millions drawings are held at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and tickets are available until 10:45 p.m. those nights. The likelihood of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350, while the odds of winning any Mega Millions prize are 1 in 24.
