Metropolitan School of the Arts’ Announces Summer Mini Camps

Alexandria, Va. Performing Arts School Offers Early Registration Discounts for Summer Camps

Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Alexandria, Va. opens up early registration discounts for its summer mini-camps now through April 1. Mini-camps and half-day camps are available for kids, ages 7 to 12, as well as pre-professional intensives for kids 8 years and older. The school is located at 5775 Barclay Road, Suite 4, in Alexandria, Va. Go to www.metropolitanarts.org.

Parents can choose from a wide variety of summer programming where students can explore and learn many facets of the performing and visual arts, including mini camps for its youngest students, like Magic of Frozen, Under the Sea, 3-2-1 Blast Off, MSA Superheros, Wonderful World of Dr. Seuss, Simba’s Dance Safari, Shimmer & Shine, Broadway Babies and Aloha Moana. CAMP MSA is for students, ages 7 to 12 and pre-professional intensives, like Music Theater Workshop, FLY Dance Intensive and Ballet Intensive are for serious, performing arts students ages 8 and older. Half-day MSA MiniCamps and half day camps are open for kids, ages 3 to 7 years old.

Mini-camps are half-day camps designed to be fun, educational activities including dancing, singing, craft making, and story time with surprise visitors, costumes and themed activities. Lunch club is offered every day.
