Mount Vernon District Candidates Meet + Greet Wednesday

The League of Women Voters is holding a meet and greet this week for the candidates running to represent the Mount Vernon District at the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the Fairfax County School Board.

The event takes place Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Sherwood Hall Library, 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane.

The candidates are:

• Supervisor Seat: Democrat Daniel G. “Dan” Storck, Republican Jane R. Gandee
• School Board Seat: Independent Karen L. Corbett Sanders, Independent W. Anthony Stacy
