Mount Vernon House Fire Causes No Injuries
A fire reported at a Mount Vernon home was quickly extinguished early Thursday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

MOUNT VERNON, VA — There were no injuries reported in a Mount Vernon house fire early Thursday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
Fire units responded to the 8700 block of Oak Leaf Drive around 2:34 a.m. Thursday. Smoke was showing from the garage, and units quickly put out the fire.
Fire investigators were on the scene to determine the cause of the fire. Fort Belvoir Fire and Emergency Services assisted with the response.
