Pedestrian In Hospital After Crash In Woodlawn/Mount Vernon Area

A pedestrian has non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital after a crash on Richmond Highway.

WOODLAWN, VA — A pedestrian was struck in a crash on Richmond Highway Tuesday morning, according to Fairfax County Police.

Officers responded to the crash on Richmond Highway at Janna Lee Avenue in the Woodlawn/Mount Vernon area. Police said an adult man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The injuries have since improved to non-life-threatening.

Northbound Richmond Highway was closed but has since reopened.
