Person Of Interest Sought For Fire At Mount Vernon Store
Fire investigators are looking into a fire started in a bathroom at Mega Mart.
MOUNT VERNON, VA—Fire investigators are seeking a person of interest regarding a fire in a Mount Vernon store on Jan. 30.
Around 1:13 p.m., Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the Mega Mart at 8228 Richmond Highway for a fire in the bathroom. Fire sprinklers put out the blaze before firefighters arrived. There were no reported injuries.
Investigators intend to speak to the person about their findings. The fire remains under investigation.

The person of interest is described as African-American wearing a blue knit hat, light blue jacket, dark pants, and black backpack.
