PHOTOS: Fort Hunt Little League Baseball Home Run Derby

Chlildren and adults flocked to the Hollin Hall fields Saturday for the Fort Hunt Little League Baseball Home Run Derby.

More than 250 Little League players vied for a first-place finish in the comeptition and fundraiser. In addition to baseball, the event also featured a dunking booth, a moon bounce, food, snow cones and games.

The Fort Hunt Little League includes about 500 players today. It was founded in 1956.

Awards are as follows:

AA: Austin Copeland (Red Sox): Batting Champion; Christopher Knight (Indians): Fastest Runner; George Pacious (Red Sox): Most Accurate Throw; AA Rays: Best Batting Team

AAA: Chase Allen (Red Sox): Batting Champion; Michael Ghattas (Mets): Fastest Runner; Chase Allen (Red Sox): Most Accurate Throw; AAA Cubs: Best Batting Team

Majors: Eric Larkin (Astros): Batting Champion; Jonathan Letai (Orioles): Fastest runner; Justin Shelton (Red Sox): Most Accurate Throw

Majors Batting Finalist Awards went to: Astros-Eric Larkin and Zach Heisler; Nationals -- Jonathan Tucker; Orioles -- Rocky Iboleon and Jonathan Letai; Pirates -- Tom Burr, Luke Hohlt and Kurt Sullivan; Reds -- Henry Mitchell; and Red Sox-Andrew Fischer.
