PHOTOS: Moran Lends a Hand at UCM Food Pantry

More than 100 Route 1 residents visit food pantry daily.

U.S. Rep. Jim Moran rolled up his shirtsleeves Tuesday at United Community Ministries on Route 1 and donated bags of non-perishable goods to UCM’s food pantry.

Moran also helped stock some of the food himself. Elizabeth McNally, UCM deputy director, praised his hard work.

“You’re quick,” she told Moran. “We’ll keep you around!”
