Photos Released of Men Who Robbed Fort Hunt Area Bank at Gunpoint

Wells Fargo Bank was robbed by two men wearing raincoats.

The FBI recently released photos of the two men who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in Fort Hunt.

At approximately 9:18 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 25, two men robbed the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 7928 Fort Hunt Road in Alexandria. The men entered the bank, brandished a gun and jumped over the teller counter while demanding money. The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a black, hooded raincoat, black pants, a ski mask and sunglasses. The second suspect was described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue hooded raincoat and blue rain pants.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI’s Washington Field Office and the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department are investigating this robbery and request anyone with information to contact the FBI at 202-278-2000 or Fairfax County Crime Solvers 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Additionally, the public can text-a-tip by texting “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637).
